325 Pitt Street is a 7-storey historic commencial building with retails lots at ground level, which was built by the YMCA in 1907 with stone & cavity brick walls, concrete & timber floors, steel frame windows and a metal roof.
The building was refurbished and strata titled in 2011.
SP85263 is a part building strata scheme occupying a stratum parcel in DP109583. The complex consists of another residential/commercial strata scheme SP85269 which occupies a modern 57-storey building built in 2011.
Management of shared facilities for the complex is undertaken by a Building Management Committee (BMC) which includes representatives of the owners of each of the stratum parcels.
The BMC is not a separate legal entity but it does maintain its own accounts, minutes and records.
We have not had access to the BMC records and make no comment as to the affairs of the BMC.
